*Wor Wonton Soup*
Wor Wonton Soup:
8 slices chinese barbecued pork, sliced on the diagonal,
recipe can be found here.
1 lb small cooked shrimp
1 chicken breast cooked, cut into bite size peices
12 wontons, recipe can be found here.
4 baby boc choy, chopped
2 cuos broccoli, in flowerettes
3 green onions, chopped
4 oz snow peas, trimmed
8 fresh mushrooms sliced and fried
1 tsp garlic granules
4 tbsp soy sauce
8 cups cicken broth
In a Dutch oven, add the chicken broth.
Heat over medium heat. Add the green onions,
bok choy, snow peas and broccoli until almost tender.
Add chinese barbequed pork, chicken, shrimp, and
mushrooms. Season with the soy sauce
Heat thouroughly, do not over cook.
Boil water for the wontons in a saucepan.
Drop wontons in and reduce heat. Simmer 5 minutes.
Drain wontons. Place four wontons in the bottom
of a large soup bowl and cover with soup.
