Weave background

This is what we want to achieve.

Weave Background

These instructions are for PSP 9.
I have not tried it in any other versions.

Thanks to Charlotte for giving me this idea :))

These pages will be slow to load as they are
graphic intensive. They are written for
those with only a basic knowledge of PSP.

Materials you will need.

Unzip your filters into your plug-in folder.

Remember to save your work often!

Drag this arrow to keep track of where you are.

The first thing that we want to do is to open
a new canvas, *100 px x 100 px*, with a
transparent background, resolution 72.000.
You can make it any size that you want.
Flood fill it with a gradient of your choice.
It doesn't matter what colours you use.
I used #d23eb7 & 6f7eb7.
Use these settings:

#1 Foreground Background
Angle: 45
Repeats: 1
Style: Linear

Gradient Settings

Go to Effects/Texture Effects/Weave.

Use these settings as a guide.
You can use any settings.

Gap: 5
Width: 12
Opacity: 25
Weave Color: a darker color than you first used
Fill Gaps: unchecked

Weave Settings

The next step is to go to Simple Filters/Diamonds.

It will automatically apply the filter.

The final step is FM Tile Tools blend emboss.
Use these settings, or any that you prefer.

Horiz.Offset: -1.000
Vert.Offset: -1.000
Intensity: 0.25
Gray Level: 64
Red Blend: 938
Green Blend: 938
Blue Blend: 938
Edge Wrap: checked
