*Halibut Bites*
Beer Batter for Halibut Bites:
1 cup flour
1 egg
6 oz. beer
3/4 tsp baking power
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tbsp parsley
1 tbsp dill weed
Mix all the ingredients together.
Dip the halibut into the batter to coat.
Use at least three inches of oil for frying.
Deep fry 6 minutes, at 338° F or until golden brown.
Turn frequently to insure uniform golden colour.
