This is what we want to achieve.

These instructions are for PSP 9.
I have not tried it in any other versions.
These pages will be slow to load as they are
graphic intensive. They are written for
those with only a basic knowledge of PSP.
Materials you will need.

Get a trial version here
Simple Filters
Get it here
*For Simple filters to work, you need the msvcrt10.dll
You can get it at the Simple Filters site.*
Texturizer Filter
Get it here
Unzip your filters into your plug-in folder.
Remember to save your work often!
Drag this arrow to keep track of where you are.

The first thing that we want to do is to open
a new canvas, *100 px x 100 px*, with a
transparent background, resolution 72.000.
Flood fill it with a gradient of your choice.
It doesn't matter what colors you use.
I used #626061 and #6a79b2.
It doesn't work on solid colors.
It does work on pattrns with lots of colors
Go to Material Properties/Gradient
Use these settings:

Go to Effects/Texture/Texturizer.
Use these settings.

The next step is to go to Effects/Distortion Effects/CurliCues.
Use these setting.

Clockwise: Checked

Next Effects/Simple/Diamonds
It will automatically apply the filter.
Save your work!
Here are a few others that I have done.

I hope that you had fun with the tutorial
